-About Me-

Growing up in Ottawa, I always thought it was boring - so naturally, I moved to the tiny city of Brantford to study UX Design at Wilfrid Laurier University.

Why UX?
I originally wanted to pursue fine arts and spent four years in Canterbury High School’s Visual Arts program. It was an amazing experience - until I spent months painting a mural for 10 hours daily. That's what helped me realize I wanted to branch out in the ways my art reaches people. Then I fell in love with Python in grade 11 and considered Computer Science - until I failed math… twice… Looking back, I’m glad it happened - it led me to UX.
I love people and hearing their stories. I’m quick-thinking, curious, and focused on experiences and outcomes. For me, UX is the perfect field that blends all those together.

Fun Facts About Me:
 
     1. I’m a guitar fanatic - I own 9 guitars. (My favorite to play is my MBM-1 Manson.)
 
     2. I constantly have to hold back from saying, “I’ve seen this band live!” or “I have this album on vinyl!”

     3. I’m a huge video game nerd - My top picks are Hades (100% completed), Terraria (3,000 hours), and
         The Witcher 3, which I wear the medallion from daily.
